Celebrating our Lincoln Lions Back to Back State Champion Girls Basketball Team

The  Girls Basketball team from Lincoln High School received their awards and championship jackets at a Lincoln High School ceremony that included LHS Principal Chris Gadsden, Vice Principal Natasha Walker, Athletics Supervisor Keith Price, Administrator Jeanette McCrae-Braswell, Secondary Director Jaime Morales and Superintendent Franklin Walker.

Head Coach Tom Best (A Lincoln High School Alum and St.Peter's University graduate) and Assistant Coaches Indigo Hatcher and Zanaja Jones led  their team to records of 24-6 and 20-7 during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons. 

The 2019-2020 Lincoln Lions:

 Tymira Miller, Tiyanni McClary, Alyssa Colon, Briana Davis, Ciarra Stevens, Tyasia Simms, Amira Shabaly, Denise White, Jakira Coar, Yassmine Murphy, Trinity Huggins, Catherine Pooser, Grace Koffi, Yaz’Mekia Epps, Aaliyah Drew, Minnie Wilson, Alaisha Mumford, Daniya Darby and Jadyn. 

Lincoln defeated Fort Lee 59-36, on March 9, 2020  in the North 2 Group 2 final to repeat as champions.
