EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2018-19 COHORT
Applications due on April 30, 2018 for Jersey City Leadership Institute Emerging Leaders Professional Learning Opportunity for APs/VPs/Supervisors 2018-2019
Jersey City School Leaders, are you interested in an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership, enhance your professional goals, and expand your impact with Jersey City Public School students? The Jersey City Leadership Institute and New Leaders have partnered to offer the Emerging Leaders program, a national model for leadership development, to JCPS Assistant Principals, Vice Principals, and Supervisors.
Emerging Leaders prepares administrators with the skills they need to lead teams of teachers — and their students — to excellence. Over the course of this yearlong, tuition-free program, Emerging Leaders grow measurably more skillful in key leadership practices, such as using data to strengthen instruction, managing difficult conversations, and delivering effective feedback to drive student achievement. This ensures that every participant builds capacity to improve schools and accelerate student learning, whether they seek to advance in their careers or become more effective in their current leadership roles.
We are launching our admissions cycle to select a cohort of 18 Emerging Leaders for the upcoming school year. We are seeking applications of those interested in participating in Emerging Leaders for 2018-19. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 30, 2018. Read the invitation to apply: here.
