BUS TICKETS
An elementary (K-8) school student who lives beyond 2.0 miles from their assigned school or a high school student (9-12) who lives beyond 2.5 miles from their assigned school would be eligible to receive bus tickets.
Requests for bus tickets, shall be completed only by the principal or authorized personnel of the school to which the student is assigned using the prescribed form.
The Student Transportation Services Office will review the request and determine if the student qualifies. Transportation would then contact the school for the tickets to be picked up. The school would be responsible for the distribution of the tickets to those students that qualify.
Students classified as Special Education or Special Needs are exceptions to the above mileage requirement. The Transportation for these students must be indicated in their Individual Educational Program. |
