High School Attendance Policy
High School Students will not receive credit for a course if such student has been absent eighteen (18) school days from a full year course (10 or 15 credits); absent nine (9) school days from a semester course (5 credits); or absent five (5) school days from a marking period course (2.5 credits). In addition, no summer school for that course will be permitted. If the student is a senior and does not need the course to graduate, it is possible that participation in the prom and commencement exercises will be denied.
