Meadowlands Environmental Center
The Meadowlands Environmental Center, located in Lyndhurst New Jersey, offers salt marshes that brim with nature's beauty year round. Students participate in two activities throughout the day that allow them to experience the ecosystem of the Meadowlands, its estuary, and its marshes. Whether they are Estuary Explorers, dipping nets in the waters of the estuary to examine life within, artists participating in Natural Reflections, or scientist studying the migratory flight of meadowlands birds, students are happily involved in learning of the unique environment less than ten miles from their home.
