BUSINESS TECH MAGNET The Business Tech Prep Magnet is designed to prepare students with the academic and computer technological skills needed to obtain employment. The goals of the BTP Magnet are to teach the ABC’s of obtaining employment, workplace ethics and etiquette. The BTP Magnet prepares students to be competent and competitive in the workforce through the partnerships of several corporations in the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan Area during their senior year. The BTP Magnet provides a direct relationship between choosing a college major, obtaining part-time or full-time employment, as well as a more direct relationship between selecting a career path. |

MARKETING TECH PREP MAGNET The Marketing Tech Prep Magnet is designed to expose students to problem solving and computers as well as the traditional curriculum. Our success lies in the fact that we place dozens of seniors each year in great retail positions earning thousands of dollars during their senior year. Many stay part-time in their jobs as they enter college. We prepare students for entry into college studies or directly into the fields of marketing, management, and entrepreneurship! |

CIE-Co-Op Program The Cooperative Industrial Education Program provides opportunities for seniors to gain part-time job experience while accruing 25 credits toward graduation. Members attend school for a 1/2 day and work at various local job sites during the afternoon and evening |

COSMETOLOGY MAGNET The Cosmetology Magnet is a comprehensive program designed to educate the student in all phases of the beauty industry. The completion of 1,000 hours of training allows the student the opportunity to take the New Jersey State Examination at the end of their senior year, thus graduating from High School with a diploma and professional license. The student may pursue other educational endeavors, having a gateway to earn money. The student may also begin to establish themselves as entrepreneurs. |

CULINARY ARTS MAGNET The Culinary Arts Magnet is a three-year program that serves as a link between school and a career in the food service and hospitality industry. It opens the doors to future lucrative opportunities. The students take Culinary Prep in the 10th grade, Prostart I in their junior year, and Prostart II in their senior year. These courses focus on food preparation, customer service, and business management. Students complete 400 hours of apprenticeship. This curriculum provides the necessary job skills to succeed in the food service and hospitality industry. |

ENGLISH and HUMANITIES MAGNET Lincoln High School's English/Humanities Magnet Program is a highly successful, innovative, and expanding program designed to offer students an intensive educational experience in the study of humanities through literature, language and composition, critical thinking, cultural studies, art appreciation and history, social studies, music, theatre arts, and film. The objective is to cultivate and enhance students' ability to observe, analyze, interpret, and evaluate all components of humanistic studies in aesthetic, intellectual, and practical terms. The program makes connections between numerous selections from multicultural literature and related works of art, philosophy, social studies, and other humanistic disciplines. |

LEGAL MAGNET The Legal Professions Magnet Program at Lincoln High School is designed to provide students with a unique and comprehensive educational experience that will prepare them for successful entry and retention in post-secondary educational programs leading to careers in the legal profession, such as attorneys or paralegal services, or in court positions, government services, or law enforcement.
The four-year sequence is highly demanding program of study, which emphasizes verbal and written communication, and research and analytical skill development. A major element in this magnet program experience is the provision of offsite (summer and school year) internship and work/study opportunities, and community service. |

JROTC MAGNET The United States Army's Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, or JROTC, is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Its focus is reflected in its mission statement, "To motivate young people to be better citizens." It prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school, and it provides instruction and rewarding opportunities that will benefit the student, community, and nation. |

Twilight Program The Twilight Program is an alternative education program serving students who present a likely risk of dropping out of school before graduation by having demonstrated social and academic behaviors that impede academic progress. This program is geared to improving the academic performance, social growth and workplace readiness of the selected students. Small class size and a 12:1 student/staff ratio allow for greater individualization and promote student achievement in both academic and social settings. |

CPIP The mission of the College Prep Incentive Program is to establish programs and opportunities that will build strong character, improve self esteem, and provide positive role-models who will assist and guide the "at risk" student to stay in school and seek higher education. |

EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS> There are 2 Extended Day Sessions available for students, a "morning" session which runs from 7:30 AM until 8:00 AM and an "afternoon" session which runs from 3:10 PM until 4:00PM Monday through Thursday |

MARKETING CO-OP PROGRAM The success of the Marketing Co-Op Program lies in the fact that we place dozens of seniors each year into excellent retail positions where they not only earn money but also gain valuable hands-on experience in retail marketing.
