Wallenberg Statue Wallenberg Foundation
The Wallenberg Honors Program is designed to honor the memory of Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat in Hungary during World War II, whose heroic efforts saved the lives of 100,000 Jews who would have perished in concentration camps.

In the past two years, Liberty High School has received honorable mention (2006) and a student (Thomas Davila) who represented Hudson County by being selected as the winner of the 2005 Wallenberg Honor Award.
