On November 29th, 2007 Franklin L. Williams Middle school held their first open house for report card distribution .We are very proud to announce that 685 parents attended the open house. This represented 85% of the student body. Both parents and teachers considered our first open house to be a success. We would also like to announce that we had 16 honor roll students and 154 credit roll students for the marking period. Some students have asked, What does it take to be on the honor roll, credit roll, and effort roll? Honor roll students must receive all As and A+s in language arts, science, math, social studies, work habits, and behavior. Credit roll students must receive a grade of B or above in all specials/subjects, work habits, and behavior. Effort roll students must improve in one or more major subjects/specials, work habits and/or behavior, and did not receive an F in any subject. We hope to have even more parents in attendance at our next open house.
