Homework
Homework is assigned on a daily basis, however, homework should be reviewed by parents on a continual basis. This practice will keep parents informed and aware of their child's current skills and classroom activities.

* Homework is an assignment that should be completed at home not during class time
* Homework is intended to help students reinforce work done in the classroom, help students work independently, and become self-reliant, think, plan and organize materials.
Attendance
* Board of Education Policy states that students are required to be in school every day except in cases of illness, death in family, excused religious holidays.
* Absences that do not fall under the reasons stated are considered unexcused.
* When a student returns from an absence, that student must bring a note from home stating the date and reason for absence.
