Dear Parents,
This is my sixth year as Principal of Cornelia F. Bradford, P.S. 16.
As such, I view P.S. 16 as being more than a building full of classrooms and books, just as I believe that education is more than a grade on a report card.
Your children have partaken of a rich store of knowledge and wisdom, thanks to our dedicated and committed faculty. But I would like to further invite each and every parent to become involved in the educational process by working with your child's teacher in assisting them to help your child to master the skills necessary to ensure their success.
As parents, please remember that knowledge is the only instrument of production that is not subject to diminishing returns. Hence, I invite each parent to invest in the generosity of your time in supporting and promoting the spirit of cooperation and partnership in helping your child develop goals and aspirations that will help them to become successful in all their future educational endeavors.
In order to help your children meet the demands of this ever evolving and complex world, we must work together in assisting your children to meet all the new challenges that he will meet on his lifelong journey in education.
Together we can make a difference in the life of each and every student that walks through our doors. Hence, I urge you to become involved in taking an active role in our Concerned Parent Association and encouraging your children to take advantage of every program offered during and after school hours.
A winning year can be achieved by working together.
