It is my pleasure to welcome you to PS #27, Alfred E. Zampella School, where our motto is, "We strive for excellence!" This vision of excellence is carried out by our exceptionally talented, professional, and dedicated instructional staff.
Our students are a diverse population in ethnicity, economy, and giftedness. We offer to every student, instructional programs that promote high academic performance as well as positive self-esteem and good decision-making skills.
I am proud of our school and all who help to make it the wonderful learning environment that it is today.

Here at the Alfred E. Zampella School our classrooms are filled with an abundance of activities that stimulate thinking and promote creativity. General instruction emphasizes the importance of the development of the whole child. Our focus is to improve students' performance academically and to enhance their social and emotional growth during their years at the Alfred E. Zampella School, their home-away-from-home.
