Our vision is to create a safe learning environment on which to build a sound educational foundation. Our goals are to increase students' achievement as we continue to align the curriculum to the New Jersey core Curriculum Standards (NJCCS), utilize a variety of evaluation tools, and provide effective, timely assistance and communication to the school community. Our highly trained staff is committed to develop, foster, deliver, and sustain differentiated instruction using multi-intelligence strategies to meet the varied styles of multi-level learners. We will continue to meet out assessment needs by utilizing rubrics, portfolios, problem-based learning tools, teacher-made tests, chapter tests, pre and post tests, district examinations, and standardized tests. With a consistent and sincere effort to motivate our students through the curriculum, the children at Dr. Charles P. DeFuccio School will grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally as they gain the necessary tools to become life long learners. |
