Principal Arlene Farrell |
|
Arlene Farrell brings with her a long and treasured history both with the Jersey City Board of Education and Dickinson High School, her alma mater. Soon after graduating from Jersey City State College, she began her career in P.S. #29 as a fourth grade teacher. Then Ms. Farrell found herself at P.S. #11 as a Math Specialist. As a life-long learner she once again attended Jersey City State University. This time she earned her Master of Arts degree and several more state certifications notably Administration and Supervision, Student Personnel Services, and Library Media Specialist. She was able to utilize her Library Media Specialist certification at P.S. #29 and MS # 41. Her Student Personnel Services came in handy in P.S. #12 where she served the Pre-K to Grade 8 population as Guidance Counselor. The Administrators certification was put to the test when Ms. Farrell held the position of vice principal at Lincoln High School and vice principal of Dickinson High School. Passing muster with flying colors Ms. Farrell is now the very proud principal of Dickinson High School. It took the better part of her 37 year career to come back home to the school she attended as a student, and now aptly leads as an administrator. |

Vice Principal Emilio Pane |

Growing up in Jersey City, Mr. Emilio Pane graduated from P.S. # 25 and William L. Dickinson High School. He received his Bachelors degree in Business from St. Peter’s College. Then he pursued a two graduate degrees earning a Masters in Education and then a Masters in Administration and Supervision from St. Peter’s College. He was a business teacher, and later the technology coordinator at William L. Dickinson High School and now he is a Vice Principal at the school. |

Vice Principal Doris Fuentes |
|
Doris Fuentes brings a sincere appreciation of the role of parents and guardians in the success of every general, special and bilingual education student. In 1975 she earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and in 1983 obtained her Master of Arts degree in Urban Education from Jersey City State College.
Ms. Fuentes is certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as an Administrator and Supervisor, Teacher of Spanish, English as a Second Language (ESL), and an Elementary School Teacher with a Bilingual Certificate Endorsement.
After teaching Spanish in a private high school, Ms. Fuentes continued her career in education in the public sector and later joined the Jersey City Public Schools in 1982 as a teacher of ESL in Ferris High School. In 1991, she served as a Supervisor of Bilingual Education and ESL for one of the four clusters into which the district was then organized. Later, Ms. Fuentes returned to Ferris High School as a Vice Principal.
In 1999 Ms Fuentes began her service with the Dickinson High School administration. Presently, she remains at Dickinson as one of our most experienced building administrators and as a key member of the Dickinson High School Parents’ Council.

Vice Principal Gekson Casillas |
|
Gekson Casillas graduated from Public School # 22 and James J. Ferris High School before going on to get a bachelor of arts from The College of New Jersey. He then went on to get his masters degree from Saint Peter’s College. Gekson started working for the district in 1998. He worked the Adult Evening Program and summer school before becoming an English teacher at Dickinson High School. Gekson also coached soccer and track and field for the Rams. In April 2008, he was officially named vice principal at DHS. |

Vice Principal Geraldine Domino |

Gerri Domino is a proud, lifelong, Jersey City resident who genuinely enjoys all the riches our town has to offer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from Jersey City State College, in addition to certifications in Administration and Supervision, Student Personnel Services, Teacher of English, Early Childhood, and Driver Education.
After teaching at a local private high school for several years, Ms Domino joined the Jersey City Public Schools in 1977 when she was assigned to James J. Ferris High School. She served the students and families there for over twenty years as a teacher of English, a Dean of Students and a Vice Principal. Later in 1999, she served the students and families of Lincoln High School as a vice principal.
In 2003, Gerri Domino arrived at the Hilltop as a veteran administrator and joined the Dickinson High School family. She continues to nurture positive relationships with students and their families as she celebrates the rich and diverse Jersey City that she knows so well.

Vice Principal Sophia Harrold
Ms. Sophia Harrold is a product of Jersey City Public Schools where she attended Public School No.14 and Abraham Lincoln High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lane College in Jackson, TN, a Master of Arts degree in Special Education at New Jersey City University and her Supervisory and Administrative certifications through the New Jersey EXCEL program.
Ms. Harrold began her career in education as a Teacher Assistant at Public School No. 41, and later returned to her alma mater, Abraham Lincoln High School, as a Teacher of the Handicap. In the Spring of 2008, she was promoted to Vice Principal of Lincoln High School as the disciplinarian of students. Ms. Harrold joined the William L. Dickinson High School administrative team in the fall of 2009 and was given a warm Rams welcome from all staff and students.
Ms. Harrold is an enthusiast when it comes to the educational process of all students. She believes that the sky is the limit for students when they are equipped with the tools and the guidance to achieve their academic goals.
