PS 16/ CORNELIA F. BRADFORD SCHOOL

It is with much enthusiasm and pride that I welcome you all to our PS 16 learning community and the start of a wonderful new year as your Principal.

We at PS 16 are fortunate to have a highly diverse student population where students and teachers are exposed to the multitude of ideas, beliefs, and customs reflecting many cultures.

Although diverse in backgrounds, we all hold the same vision--attaining maximum achievement and success while striving to go beyond our capabilities in all of our academic endeavors.

It is this vision that we, as teachers, parents, and students must retain and seek throughout the year, disciplined in our efforts towards that goal, while vigilant in our responsibilities to our tasks, to ourselves, and to one another.

We at PS16 enjoy the privilege of being among the highest academically ranked school in Jersey City. But, it is not without the commitment and dedication of our highly qualified teaching staff, support of our parents, and concerned administration. At PS 16 we have all the ingredients to assure a promising and productive year ahead.

As Principal, I look forward towards meeting the challenges and rewards of serving our children and our community.
