ANTHONY J. INFANTE SCHOOL/ PS #31 SCHOOL UNIFORM 

The Jersey City Board of Education has a policy requiring the wearing of uniforms by students.  The uniform for the Infante School consists of a light blue collared shirt and navy blue pants, skirt or jumper.  Parents may purchase these items at the store of their choice.  The school can iron on the Infante School name for a small fee.

Should students report to school in clothing other than the school uniform, school staff will review the circumstances, and may require the following:

• Parent/guardian will be asked to bring in the uniform so the student can change.

• Parent/Guardian conference if the student is consistently out of uniform.

If there are extenuating circumstances that prevent the student from wearing the uniform, please notify the administrator in writing.  We will make every effort to assist parents with obtaining a uniform for their child.
