Mr. Marvin Stryner, Principal

When I was a young boy, my grandmother advised me to learn as much as I could in school. The knowledge would not make my head bigger and would not add excess weight to my body. It would, in fact, make me walk taller and have more confidence in myself.

Grandmother was right.

As you move through school (high school and beyond) aspire to learn as much as you can. You will have confidence and a wholesome self image. You will make your parents proud and you will make your Cordero family proud. And perhaps most important, you will be proud of yourself.

As I was growing up, my parents always instilled in me the importance of family values.  Throughout my teaching career, I always tried to instill the same values to my students.

I now have the pleasure of serving as Assistant Principal at the Rafael de J. Cordero School, where we believe, "Every Student Will Achieve".  We strive to instill family values, academic success and unity to all of our students.   We value the commitment and dedication of our community in supporting our students. With this thought in mind, we look forward to having a productive and successful school year.
