School Uniforms
Public School Number Eight

Dress Code

All students must wear a school uniform everyday. *

Uniform for Girls - Grades Pre-K through 5th Grade

Khaki pants
Khaki skirt (length of skirt must reach right above knee line)
Khaki skort

Long sleeve navy blue shirt with school emblem
Short sleeve navy blue shirt with school emblem
Long sleeve navy blue cardigan sweater with school emblem

Brown, black shoes- no sneakers.

Uniform for Boys - Pre-K through 5th Grade

Khaki pantsLong sleeve navy blue shirt with school emblem
Short sleeve navy blue shirt with school emblem
Long sleeve navy blue cardigan sweater with school emblem.

Black, brown shoes must be worn.

ALL shirts must be tucked inside of pants, skirts, or skorts.
No hats or sweatbands etc. may be worn within the school building.

Exceptions to the above- when students have gym they must wear their gym uniform and sneakers.
If there is a special theme day, students will be able to wear appropriate clothing for that day. If any student does not adhere to the Dress Code Policy, they are sent home and the parents are contacted.
