BOARD SPECIAL COMMITTEE MEETING ON FINANCE

PUBLIC HEARING AND LISTENING SESSION ON THE 2021-2022 BUDGET

In accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, P.L. 1975 c 231 and the Governor of New Jersey’s Executive Orders 102 and 104 regarding COVID-19 Emergency Actions, this is to advise that The 1st Special Public Hearing / Budget meeting of the Jersey City Board of Education will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 virtually beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the special meeting is to conduct community engagement and input for all Jersey City residents, students, parents, and stakeholders on the proposed 2021-2022 budget.

In addition, the meeting may be viewed live via the District website at https://www.facebook.com/TheSchoolDistrictOfJerseyCity. Members of the public may remotely access and provide comments via remote audio conference.

An executive session for confidential matter may be held. Public speaking session will be via audio conference. Formal action may be taken.
