On April 13, 2025, Helen Poandl turned 101 !!!
At her mega birthday celebration Mrs. Poandl was presented with video footage of Dr. Fernández, addressing Helen as well as Dr. Troy Smith, Principal of Snyder High School, signing Helen’s very own symbolic diploma!! The one she was unable to pursue during the Great Depression.
