That is why JCPS health department has been working tirelessly to train district employees and continue to get more staff CPR certified in the coming year. Since Feb 2023, 350 staff members have been trained by certified American Heart Association CPR Instructors!
McNair Academic HS student Will Be 1 of 18 High Schoolers Nationwide to Represent the United States of America in Brazil McNair Academic HS student, Dinu Antonescu will be 1 of 18 high schoolers nationwide to represent the United States of America in Brazil via the Youth Ambassadors Program, a program which is fully funded by the U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The goal of the Youth Ambassadors Program is to foster understanding among high school students by growing leadership abilities, and preparing young people to make a difference in their communities.

JCPS receives Stormwater Assistance Grant We are very excited to announce that The Jersey City Public Schools District is a recipient of Governor Murphy’s Stormwater Assistance Grants. JCPS will develop a plan to survey and retrofit up to 39 schools with green infrastructure and construct rain gardens at two of them.
