Board Member Morris

 

Dejon Morris has been a highly decorated Jersey City Police Detective for 19 years. In addition he was the Jersey City Democratic Organization elected Committeeman representing District A2. He has also served as Chief of staff to the late Senator Glenn D. Cunningham Legislative District 31 Bayonne/Jersey City, Chief of staff to State Assemblywomen Angela V McKnight Legislative District 31 Bayonne/Jersey City, Chief of staff to County Commissioner Jeffery Dublin District 3 Representing Hudson county and Jersey City, and Chief of staff to Late Councilwomen-At-Large Willie L Flood Representing Jersey City at Large.

 

He also volunteers at several youth based projects and non profits such as the South Hudson Civic Association and many other JC based non profits. 

 

Dejon has a goal of using his knowledge of public safety to build bridges and provide new opportunities to our youth in various JCPS based initiatives.
