Board Member Blount
Dr. George Blount serves on the board of trustees of Pillar College and is the Chair of Academic Affairs. Dr. Blount has been a Commissioner for the Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. He has been past Chair of Suits for Success and currently serves as their Ambassador. He is currently a member of the Hudson County Workforce Development Board.
He is an accreditation evaluator and Team Leader for the Council of Occupational Education. He is an Instructor of Biblical Studies, and the Vice President of Emmanuel School of Theology.
Dr. Blount is also Vice-President of the Political Leaders of Tomorrow and current Trustee to Jersey City Board of Education. He is an ordained minister.
Dr. Blount has a Bachelors Degree from Fordham University, A Master Degree from Bank Street College of Education and a Doctorate from Eastern Biblical Seminary. He is currently the president and owner of the National Career Institute.
