An instructional specialist is an educational  professional who supports teachers and administrators to improve teaching and learning. The instructional specialists provide coaching, model effective practices, analyze student data, and assist with curricula development to align instruction with  the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) in Mathematics and Language Arts Literacy.  Their goal is to enhance teacher effectiveness and boost student outcomes through collaboration, professional development, and targeted interventions.
